Your shard site is succesfully installed!
Your main pages (news, timeline, posts, network, about) are still pretty empty. Only the timeline page contains 4 dummy posts, of which this is one, which you should delete later.
You should start by going to your dashboard and look around. You should check out the settings, set your profile, and most important, create two new users, one with role 'editor' and one with role 'administrator', and delete the existing default administrator user 'shard'.

Let's start building your network. The Shard community does not consist of friends, but of shard sites following each other's content. By importing the network codes of other shard sites, your shard site will pull their posts and show them on your news page, very much like you are used to in Facebook or Instagram. The posts can consist of text, images and videos. So look around and get some network codes to save in your network settings.

This is an example of an embedded video. Use the "insert media" button on the toolbar or use the "::" video tags before and after a link to transform the link into an embedded videoplayer. Like the one below:
